Review audits executed by the RTA
The four mass transit agencies of Northeastern Illinois (CTA, Metra, Pace and the RTA) perform several types of audits to verify financial statements, ensure full compliance with statutes and regulations, and assess management’s operating performance. In some cases audits are performed on an annual or bi-annual basis; whereas other audits examine a single point of time and are performed at the specific request of management.
