Public Transportation Offers Best Travel Option for Fourth of July Festivities

June 30, 2016

RTA Trip Planner offers easy way to plan routes

CHICAGO – If you’re staying in town to celebrate the Fourth of July, the Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) is reminding riders that public transportation is the way to go. Public transportation offers a fast and convenient way to get around the region, with just a short ride on a bus or train to take you to all the fun and festivities.

Riders can use the RTA’s Trip Planner to plan travel and select routes with ADA accessible services, when necessary.  It is the only online site in the region that provides a variety of options for getting around by using transit, walking, bicycling and driving. For more information about how the RTA Trip Planner can help you plan your next trip, visit www.RTAChicago.org
