Chicago, IL – The Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) is asking transit riders to participate in a short survey to help better understand how customers feel about regional transit service. The survey is open until October 31, 2018.
“We want to give riders the opportunity to provide us with valuable feedback that will help us shape policies for the future,” said Leanne Redden, RTA Executive Director. “How satisfied they are with the service, would they recommend transit to others—these are the types of questions that can help us gauge customer satisfaction.”
The RTA is also recruiting riders to join a customer opinion panel, which will involve a few more in-depth surveys throughout the year. To sign up for the panel, riders will need to provide the RTA with an email address at the end of the survey.
Customer satisfaction surveys are conducted periodically as part of the RTA region’s performance measurement program. The RTA sponsors this collaborative effort with the Transit Agencies to offer a region-wide customer satisfaction survey to produce a consolidated, comprehensive view of the transit system
