As many of you know, the proverbial "last mile" (getting to or from a transit stop) is a challenge for public transportation systems around the country. That's why I was pleased to see this article today about Divvy adding sites in Evanston. Our public transportation system is part of a larger transportation "eco-system" of which CTA, Metra and Pace are the backbone. So, hey you, in the purple sweatshirt. Wanna jump on a bike once this snow melts and pedal to an "L" stop. Sounds like a good idea to me. Read the Article
