It’s astounding to think that the average Chicago area motorist wasted about 114 hours sitting in traffic jams last year—that’s almost a full work week! This should make us grateful for our public transportation system and wonder aloud what our traffic would be like without it. Let’s get at least that 5% of driving commuters off the road and onto buses and trains as the expert in this story recommends--so we can spend that week on the beach instead of on the road.
