CTA and Pace are seeking public input about how to improve transit in the North Shore area. If you live or work in Skokie, Lincolnwood, Evanston, Wilmette or the Northside of Chicago, your input is requested to help ensure these transit providers are aware of your transit needs. This work complements the North Shore Transit Service Coordination Plan and Market Analysis. The Plan and Analysis reviewed the existing Pace and CTA routes in the North Shore area, including portions of the cities of Chicago and Evanston and the villages of Lincolnwood, Skokie and Wilmette. The primary goals of this project is to improve coordination between Pace and CTA services on the North Shore along overlapping corridors, as well as investigating opportunities for new service. Ultimately, this work will study existing travel demands and markets and review changes and new developments in the area. By offering this input, you can help CTA and Pace improve the services they provide in North Shore area and improve/optimize coordination of Pace and CTA service.
