Dump the Pump was a Success!

["Yesterday we joined the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA), Metra and Pace Bus to celebrate the 12th annual Dump the Pump Day, a national initiative that promotes the benefits of public transportation and encourages commuters to leave their cars at home. Cubic Transportation Systems, the developer of Ventra™, sponsored the event by providing free cups of coffee to transit riders during the morning rush hour.\n\nDonning our orange shirts, we handed out “Dump the Pump” tote bags, “I Dumped the Pump” stickers and free coffee to thank riders for choosing public transportation. Our street teams greeted morning commuters at the Pace Northwest Transportation Center in Schaumburg, the CTA Roosevelt Station and the northeast corner of Wacker and Madison near Ogilvie Transportation Center and Union Station.\n\nWe want to especially thank our partners at CTA, Metra, Pace and Cubic for their hard work and efforts. We had a great time putting a smile on so many commuters’ faces!
