The American Public Transportation Association (APTA) recently published its 2018 calendar and our region is well represented!
The RTA submitted a photo of the CTA bus and ‘L’, which is featured as the cover photo of the calendar!
Metra is also featured for the month of August!
Being featured on the cover and in one month is exciting and we are happy to be highlighted by APTA in this way. To see a copy of the calendar, click here.
Who is APTA? APTA has been representing the transit industry for over 100 years, since 1882. Their members serve the public interest by providing safe, efficient and economical transit services, and by improving those services to meet national energy, environmental and financial concerns. Over ninety percent of passengers using transit in the U.S. and Canada are carried by APTA members.
