In case you missed it, I joined leaders from CTA, Metra and Pace to talk about the passage and impact of our state’s historic capital bill, Rebuild Illinois, on WTTW’s Chicago Tonight. The RTA has long advocated for capital investment in our transit system, and this capital bill is a good start. Each of the transit leaders discussed specific projects that require funding. The RTA’s Strategic Plan, Invest in Transit, and its accompanying document, Invest in Transit: Priority Projects, have more information.
